Sometime that which is not said creates more of an impact

There is a stillness even in the confusion

This is my latest creation I haven’t got a name for it, are there any suggestions?

n

What I wanted to attempt with this piece is to get the central cube to hover.

nn

I have always been drawn towards designs and images that play with the perception of space within my mind.

n

When I wore a younger mans clothes  I remember I visited the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam

n

there I saw an unassuming work of art. Remarkable in the fact

n

that when you walked past it, it gave the illusion

n

that there was a fly in the room.

n

The artist and the title have long since passed out of mind

n

but the image has stayed with me a truly powerful experience.

n

As I walk down this path called life I oft heard

n

it said that that artist or that piece of work

n

was to me so spiritual and moving.  Am I blind, why has nothing moved me so, setting up a vibration of understanding

n

and appreciation?

n

I can appreciate technical ability

n

I can appreciate the energy and effort to compile the work,

n

I can appreciate that it is clever,

n

I can comprehend the technical nuances

n

and yet sometime I find it difficult to engage emotionally

n

that is until  I came across the outstanding work

n

of Fred Sandbach August 29, 1943 – June 23, 2003

n

a minimalist that really altered the space within my head

n

.all with little pieces of wool

n

Scottish Visual Arts Charity Auction in aid of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital for Sick ChildrennOrganised by the Scottish Qualification Authority’s Lowden Informal CommitteennDear Mr AdamsnnI am contacting you on behalf of the Scottish Qualification Authority’s Lowden Informal Committee who are a bunch of volunteers that raise awareness and much needed funds for our nominated Charity of the Year. This year it is the Sick Kids Friends Foundation based in Edinburgh. A much loved institution used by families in and around the Lothians, Borders, the Kingdom of Fife and the East Coast of Scotland for many a year and hopefully many more years to come. nnWe are looking to organise some high profile events in the next 12 months and one of them is a celebration of the Visual Arts in Scotland. We hope to have an Auction sometime in the next 6 months, i will have a firm date once the Auctioneers come back to me. I have had a fantastic response from artists all over the country and i really hope you may be able to help us out as well.
