Dear TerrynnI would like to invite you to submit art for inclusion in Volume VIII of “International Contemporary Masters”, a leading juried annual art publication presenting noteworthy artists from all over the world.nnPlease note that there is an inclusion fee if you are approved. The concept of the publication is different.nThe book is delivered for free to galleries, museums, art fans, collectors, interior designers, curators etc. and when it is sold, it is at a cost price so nobody makes money from sales.nWe have a large distribution and the purpose of the book is to promote the artists in it. This is the reason the artists have to pay. Only artists that are up to the standards of our art committee are approved. nArtists approved to appear in the book are also entitled to participate in the exhibition we organize at the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Arts in Las Vegas.nIf you are interested I will send you more information or you can visit: worldwideartbooks.comnnTo get an idea of the quality of our publications you can view our previous books on the same site.nnOur new project: A grand International art show in Los Angeles! Scottish Visual Arts Charity Auction in aid of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital for Sick ChildrennOrganised by the Scottish Qualification Authority’s Lowden Informal CommitteennDear Mr AdamsnnI am contacting you on behalf of the Scottish Qualification Authority’s Lowden Informal Committee who are a bunch of volunteers that raise awareness and much needed funds for our nominated Charity of the Year. This year it is the Sick Kids Friends Foundation based in Edinburgh. A much loved institution used by families in and around the Lothians, Borders, the Kingdom of Fife and the East Coast of Scotland for many a year and hopefully many more years to come. nnWe are looking to organise some high profile events in the next 12 months and one of them is a celebration of the Visual Arts in Scotland. We hope to have an Auction sometime in the next 6 months, i will have a firm date once the Auctioneers come back to me. I have had a fantastic response from artists all over the country and i really hope you may be able to help us out as well. Any piece of work from yourself would be a fantastic addition to the 50+ donations that i already have pledged by some of Scotland’s best artists.nnWhat we are looking for at the moment is a pledge from yourself to donate a single piece of work that we could Auction on the day. Once i have a firm date for the event i will get back in touch with yourself with regards to any donated piece of work you may be kind enough to provide us with. nnWith our obvious connection with Scottish schools and colleges it is hoped that some of the best students in the country can also get involved in the event as well.nnKindest Regards,nnGordon McCubbingnEvents ManagementnOperational SupportnLOWDENnTel: 0345 213 6707ngordon.mccubbing@sqa.org.ukn (more…)
